“A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away.”

Let me formally introduce myself, my name is Amy Burris soon to be Amy Machado. I have taken pictures for as long as I can remember. As a little girl I would use rolls and rolls of film (remember film?) shooting pictures of anything that caught my eye. My mother encouraged me to feed this passion of mine by getting a degree in Professional Photography and Visual Communications from Cecil College.

I am currently still at Cecil College, not as a student, but as a teacher of both Basic Photography and Intro to Filmmaking. I absolutely love my job! Every semester I get to see fresh faces of students who are eager to learn the basics in photography and video. When I am not teaching, or working on video projects at our church my main focus is on my business, my pride and joy if you will. I began Amy Lynn Productions as soon as I graduated in 2006 doing most of my work for family and close friends. Now as my business grows I hope that my clients can see my passion for photography as well as people. I love to get to know all of my clients so that their personality and style shines through in my photographs.

Let me share a few of my favorites with you...

This photo is from Justin and Joys wedding. Now I am a bit biased because they are both good friends of mine, but their wedding was a blast! Their wedding party was far from shy and had no problem hamming it up for me.

Meet the Clawsons. I have been their photographer for a few years now. My first shoot for her was of Katelyn the oldest child and then next thing you know it was maternity shoots and Christmas photos from that point on. This one is one of my absolute favorites because of this beautifull red wall (my favorite color) and they fact that we had already been shooting for well over an hour at this point and everyone was so patient as I kept dragging them around so I could achieve at the poses that kept popping into my head.

Tag Last but not least I want to share a video with you. This was a video that Joe (my fiancé) and I shot with my students just to have fun and get them acclimated with using the camera equipment for both still and moving shots. I hope you enjoy our epic game of tag as much as much as we did.

Last but not least, if I have not had a chance to meet you yet, please contact me. I welcome a challenge and love meeting new people. So wether you are in need of portraits, want to capture those special moments at your wedding or have a great video idea, I am your girl. My price list is available upon request and can be altered once we discuss your project and budget.

Browse around and enjoy!
